Most people probably don’t even read the labels, but for some reason I
do. In most motel rooms, you’ll find two bars of soap in the bathroom.
The wrapper around one bar says “Facial Soap”, and the other one says
“Body Soap”. But when I first enter the room, I’m not looking for
either of those. I want the bar of soap that is specially formulated
for washing your hands! I’m looking for the “Hand Soap”. Why
don't they provide that? And why do they need to label them at all?
Shouldn’t I be free to use either bar for any purpose I choose? My
guess is that they’re the same soap, but they figure it’s more
impressive if they label them differently. If that’s the case then it
just goes to show that You can’t judge a soap by it’s cover!
