I wrote once before about a “limited-time-offer” commercial that caught my attention, and now I’ve noticed another one. The Pro-Caulk is available toll-free by phone for the amazing price of $19.95! What is it? It’s a waste of money. But they’re selling it as a device for spreading caulk in those hard to reach locations. It’s a five cent piece of plastic with beveled and rounded corners designed to give a perfect line of caulk every time. For decades, wiping the caulk with your finger was just fine, but maybe there’s a market among the clean-o-phobes out there. Of course, if you order now you get a complimentary tube of caulk and this handy caulk removal tool! This tool looks like the plastic knife that used to come with a play-dough set. I can’t help but wonder how many of these they sell.
