Stop The Descrimination

When you're at the grocery store and checking out, why do they ask if you want your milk in a bag? They've made it to the end of the buggy, have bagged everything up to that point, and then ask "Would you like your milk in a bag?" Yes, I would. Have the previous eight bags been so exhausting that the cashier hopes he won't have to do just one more? Or, do grocery store workers have some kind of grudge against milk? Does it not deserve the same care and attention as the box of oatmeal? I think it's time we stop milk discrimination, and put an end to the tensions that separate it from the other groceries.
